DVD Sale: Pay-What-You-Want (Sept 10-11th)
Hello everyone,
It makes sense to offer the MEDITATE AND DESTROY DVD to our fans by a pay-what-you-want model.
I was living in NYC on 9/11. it is hard to believe it’s been 10 years since that day. I remember it like it was yesterday. I remember meeting my friend at the CNN headquarters because the office where I was working (on the Eastside Midtown Manhattan- near the United Nations building) had been evacuated. She was working as a financial correspondent, but on 9/11 all reporters were quickly assigned to cover the breaking news. It was a horrific walk to her office (near Penn Station) with hordes of people on the street- everyone looking like zombies.
By the time I got over to meet her, I was so numb. I was outside my skin. I went to the bathroom at the CNN office and remember so vividly looking in the mirror. I hardly recognized my own face. I was so pale I looked like a ghost. I was, like everyone else, shocked to the core. I tried to briefly find the image I was familiar with in the mirror- but I couldn’t. I knew from that day forward everything would be different. I made a vow right then and there to do whatever I could to help living beings understand the essence of this precious human life. I vowed to use my life (to the best of my ability) in a way that would provide deep meaning to people and offer real solutions to grief. I’m not sure how to gauge how well I’ve kept this vow, but I know that what drew me to make MEDITATE AND DESTROY was intricately tied to my experience on 9/11.
I’ll never forget the lives that were lost and I hope you won’t either.
Over the weekend of Sept 10-11, make a donation of any amount and you will get a copy of the DVD. Simply go to this page and click “Add to Cart”. You can enter the amount you want to pay. We ask that you consider the cost of making the DVD (replication, DVD mastering etc.). If you have the means, you can contribute more than the retail price ($24.95) to cover costs for another fan.
We honor the victims of 9/11 and will contribute 10% of all proceeds to 9/11 charities.
